CBSE Grading System Introduced in X and IX class

Finally Grading system in CBSE X class has been introduced and will work form the next year 2010-11. The board exams now have become optional for x and new system called continuous and comprehensive evaluation (CCE) has been approved based on grades. There would be two assessment during a year called as formative and summative assessment.

About Formative Assessment: it will be based on class work, homework, assignment and project work done by the students.

Two evaluations would be there each in first and second term and will carry 10 marks.

In summative assessment based on the term end examination:

There would be one term end exam for each term. The first term end exam will carry 20 marks and second will carry 40 marks.

There would be total 9 grades for class IX and Xth. Grade for a student would be based on the marks obtained in formative and summative assessments. Here is the complete detail of grading system.

Marks Obtained Grade

CBSE Board Exams optional CCE grading system coming

 CCE Grading system

Good news for CBSE Xth class students. Now the CBSE Board exam for 10th Class is going to be optional from the next year and it would also be confirmed with a formal announcement with all the details, like what would the new system to replace 10th class board exams etc. It would be announced most probably on coming Friday 28th Ausgust 2009.

From the sources it has been come to know that CBSE has prepared the format of an aptitude exam for class x and schools can use it for the test on the basis of understanding level in different subject. Grading system would be implemented instead of marks. but it also has been said that CBSE is conducting surveys whether students still wants board examination for Xth class or not. Only after that it would be finalized whether new system would be introduced or not?

There is also a provision that there may be two options for the students first those who want to opt for board and the second for those who don’t. There many be another provision of online certification. There would be online demand test for those who don’t want to take the board exams but also want to get the certificate later on. This certificate would be equivalent to Xth class certificate exam. Let’s wait and look at the final decision

Write your Comments and suggestions what you want ?
Grading System should be introduced ?
or
Board Exams should be continued ?

The choice is in your hand.

CBSE Important Questions 10 12 Math Physics Chemistry Biology

CBSE Important Questions 10th and 12th class

Students are eagerly looking for some important questions for all you CBSE and ICSE board papers whether it is match, science, English etc. What important questions meant?
Important questions means that pattern of question that can match with your actual CBSE board paper.

Those students who have not practiced sample papers, guide or helps books properly, search for these kinds of term like important question for CBSE math paper, important questions for CBSE English paper, science, physics, chemist etc, On the internet you will find those question that you have already prepared in CBSE sample papers for both the class whether 12th or 10th. These questions would be beneficial more for those who are lacking somewhere or are not prepared very well for CBSE board exam 2009.

Must prepare 6 marks questions, if we talk about 10 class, there would be total 5 question of 6 marks. So must prepare for 6 marks important questions. In 12th class there would be total 7 questions of six marks each, it means total 42 marks questions.

The best idea to practice such questions is:

Find some last year cbse sample papers, find out the last questions of mathematics of 6 marks each and prepare them well. Don’t learn them, understand them properly. It would be better for you to understand these questions for long term. Similarly have a look on last year question paper and find out the long question in section D.

Take your help books and guide, prepare these question. You can also cover short question if you have prepared long question very well. Similarly compare last year paper for each subject like physics, chemistry, biology, accountancy, economics and other subjects. Use the same technique and prepare all the important questions of each subject. As there is not much time left for the board examination so do fast. Best of luck

How to Prepare Chemistry CBSE Sample Papers 12 10 class

How to Prepare for Chemistry - CBSE Chemistry Sample papers

For a science side student Physics, Biology and Chemistry are three top difficult subjects rest English and math are easy as compare to above. Tips for Biology and Physics have already been given to the students if you are unaware of these tips, read here Biology tips - Physics tips

Now it is time to talk about CBSE Chemistry. Here are some chemistry tips for the students. How to prepare for chemistry?

The first point as it has been discussed earlier, practice and read Chemistry daily for at least one hour. The main problem students face at the time of learning and understanding Reactions. Just learning is not enough in chemistry. A better and deep understanding is required to be an expert of chemistry. It is very important to have a deep and sound knowledge of all chemistry concepts. Then only you will be able to learn it quickly.

Don’t deceive your self by devoting too much time to your study. Quality is more important than quantity. So always give importance for quality reading. Practice is more important. So always practice physics sums and try to write other theory questions as well after regular intervals.

Many students don’t consider school class important and give preference to their tuitions, but if you are well prepared for school class and take an active participation in there it will also help you to learn it quickly. Always read the topics of your Chemistry book that will be discussed in your class room. If you have a prior idea of the topic you would be able to grasp it easily. Chemistry is not like a story it require deep and slow reading so that you could be able to understand the topic.

First prepare all the topics of your CBSE NCERT books and then only go for other Chemistry sample papers and CBSE chemistry previous year papers.

You should practice what you have studied in class. Marks the problem and ask them either from your class teacher or tutor. Always practice in written. If you practice in this way it means you developing your confidence level which is very important for a student.

After completion of CBSE NCERT books you must practice previous year Chemistry sample papers which will increase your confidence level. You would also be able to point out your difficulties and problems. Solve these problems too and surely in this way you would be able to get high marks in your examination. Last year question papers and sample papers would be a good move after NCERT.

How to Attempt Question Paper to Get High Marks?

Some times student fails to get high marks though they have a good practice. Some time they got puzzle, some time they forget the answers and some times they do not attempt question answers in a proper way.

While you sit in examination hall and receive the question paper from the examiner, go through the question paper. First attempt the grammar section as it takes less time. Don’t devote much time if you are puzzle or have some doubt, leave the question and move to another. But don’t forget to mark UN attempted par in your question paper. Without wasting your time move to text book and attempt only those questions first in which you are more confident.

Leave proper gape between your answers. Highlight question number with black pen and underline that or mark circle over that, it facilitates examiner to find your question easily. If are confident in all the questions than you should answer the questions serial wise. The first impression is the last impression so always give a terrific start without any mistakes.
When an examiner checks the paper, he can imagine the quality of a student by checking just few questions.

If you are fluent and not making any mistakes teacher naturally understands your quality and don’t give too much time to check other questions and give good marks as well. At last you should attempt unseen passages section and try to attempt it carefully. Don’t forget to answer those questions first in which you feel more confident.

If you attempt the paper in this way, you will surely get good marks. These examination tips also help students if they don’t have much preparation for the exams.
