Common Aptitude Test for English Honours
Yes students from this year will have to face common aptitude test to take admission in English Honours Course in various colleges. Delhi university has introduces this cat exam in order to form uniformity in various colleges of Delhi University. Still some colleges are participating and some are not.
Earlier there was no uniformity, some colleges were giving admission on the basis of XII class marks and some colleges were conducting their own test for English hon. This is a good news for some students and also bad for some of them. Those who have not scored high marks in cbse board examination can still appear for common aptitude test for English. Students would have one more chance to take admission in their favorite colleges provided they scored high marks.
Eligibility
Those who have scored at least 60% in English and best of four subjects in CBSE XII class can apply.
Application form
Application form can be obtained from Arts faculty north campus.
Examination Date
This year test will be held on 17th June 2009
Timings
Test duration would be 90 minutes
